My mother is in the hospital with pneumonia and I will be flying out to British Columbia on Mar 4th for a week, at least. She was diagnosed with lung cancer last year and as you probably know, pneumonia is dangerous for anyone with a serious illness, let alone lung cancer.
Please note that answering email in the next week, or several, will not be on the top of my priority list. And thank you for your patience in waiting until I return to answer any you may send.

New Videos
I added a video to the front page of Terry Farrell describing the Manx breed. He's an all breed judge in the CCA as well as a retired manx breeder who I've personally met a few times. (I just chose not to show in the CCA at this time. My cats are CFA registered and that's good for now.)
Anyway, I've also uploaded a video of my Rune playing bathtub soccer (coined by Jean of Romanxx). His favorite mice are the fuzziest, brightest colored things you can find. Orange seems to be his favorite color. All the tails get bitten off courtesy of Maggie, his mom. Child-safing toys? lol
In other news, we were all geared to start looking for a house last October when my husband was temporarily laid off at work (over a union contract). But he's back now and we're trying to get back on track. We are planning to buy a house (no more renting for us) this year. As such, no kittens are due or litters planned.
I've also started a new business. It's rather hard to explain, much easier to show you the site. But if you are interested in earth friendly products, this is a must see. The Freedom Project
Lastly, it's my grad class 20 year reunion this year. Blows my mind. 20 years! I've hooked up with a lot of classmates at facebook.com and another gal has a great website set up for the actual event and sign up. I really hope I can make it, but as things are at the moment, it's not looking too likely. I missed the 10 year reunion too. Being so far away is part of the problem of course. I grew up in Kamloops, British Columbia. It's a 6-8 hour flight from Toronto, depending on where you land or have to drive from. Ah well, hopefully they will take lots of pictures lol.

I Miss the Kittens!
Due to a family member's health, we have decided not to breed any of our girls this year. And I sure miss having kittens around.
I may still consider sending Maggie or Willow to be bred at a cattery in the USA, but no concrete plans. So if you are looking for a Canadian bred registered manx kitten, there is still hope! I don't keep waiting lists, but there is certainly an announcements newsletter (on the Available page) you may join. When a litter arrives, I will happily inform the newsletter and those still interested can contact me then. Please note that joining the newsletter does NOT guarantee a kitten or a spot on a waiting list (as I do not keep one). But it will get you informed of available kittens.
Otherwise, as I often tell those that email me looking for a registered manx in Canada, you'll have to contact one of the lovely ladies from the catteries on my links page. I would recommend any one of them with confidence.
Summer is rolling on to an end. It went by so quickly! So a very happy Fall to you and yours from Mystic Tails Manx.
